Avera De Smet Memorial Hospital provides state-of-the-art health care that is close to home with a caring, compassionate touch for residents in De Smet and the surrounding rural communities.

Avera Health and the City of De Smet are currently undergoing a phased renovation project to the existing 1950’s hospital.  The improvements allows for all departments to be updated with select expansion in radiology, emergency department, physical therapy and business office.
