Custer State Park visitor experience impacts guest spending, length of stay, and repeat business, Perspective worked with Regency CSP Ventures and SD Game Fish & Parks to jointly develop the Recommended Facility Improvements Master Plan 2012 and the 2014 Update for the Custer State Park Resorts. The master plan identified the need for multiple additional cabins throughout the park. 

Perspective designed cabins at located at Sylvan Lake, Legion Lake, the State Game Lodge, and Blue Bell. The cabins range from cozy single room styles to large gathering cabins capable of sleeping more than 20 people. Each is designed with regional materials including native stone. Many are designed as fully accessible, improving opportunities for all to enjoy the park experience.
