Sioux Falls, SD

The Elmen Park Trailhead is named in tribute to Bob and Jim Elmen. This construction is a charitable gift to the City of Sioux Falls, funded with grants from the Elmen Family’s Foundations through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. It is built on public access to the Big Sioux River Greenway Trail System surrounding Sioux Falls. Jim Elmen’s passion for biking will give cyclists, roller bladers, and hikers some practical and enjoyable facilities along the city trails. The Trailhead consists of a restroom, parking, two shelters, patio plaza, air pump for bike tires and signage, both interpretive and monument.
